You have Level 1.. now what?

Continuing avalanche education is where you go after you have the bedrock Level 1 class. All of our Colorado Avalanche continuing education classes are available for snowmobiles, skier, splitboarders.

Avalanche Class Colorado Continuing Education

Avalanche Rescue

1-day

Go deeper into avalanche rescue with things like deep burials, multiple burials, post accident patient care and more. Our only continuing ed class that can be taken before Level 1.

Avalanche Terrain +

l1 required

Terrain, terrain, terrain, its the answer to all the 9 avalanche problems! You covered it in Level 1  but every one can use more time with and instructor trip options planning, identifying terrain in feild and managing their group. 

Pre-requisities: Level 1, Rescue encouraged

Snowpack+

L1 required

Snow nerds or those thinking of going Pro this is for you!

Snowpits and profiles all day! Learing about S.W.A.G. guidelines, crystal ID and more

Pre-requisities: Level 1, Rescue encouraged

3 Days of advanced recreational training for those going more, farther and deeper into the backcountry. Going in depth into snowpack, weather, recreational forcasting and more
