This 1-day class is great for those new or interested in backcountry sledding, to get. taste and starter info before moving on to a Level 1. Or those who may not ride all the time in the backcountry but do occasionally and want some avalanche education before they invest the time for level 1.

2. Reading slope angles,

3. Identifying avalanche terrain

4. Basic rescue

5. basic off trail riding skills
